the Artist

Mike Fischer's career as an artist developed from a life long passion for cars.  He started his career as a automative body man and painter. Moving on next to mastering hand lettering techniques as a sign painter for his and wife, Mary's custom sign business. As a skilled painter he began a teaching career with Wyoming Technical Institute in the Street Rod Department, where he led the Custom Paint class, teaching  students techniques in airbrushing, pin striping, and lettering.

As an airbrush artist Mike Fischer's style is wild and experimental- yet painstakingly precise.  He paints with the intention to create an enticing visual experience. He is influenced by his love for car culture and his passion for everything that is apart of the airbrush painting process, including the chemistry and movement of the medium.
